02 - 1 can (14 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
03 - 2 tbsp taco seasoning mix
04 - 1 tbsp vegetable oil
→ Chips & Base
05 - 10 oz sturdy tortilla chips
→ Cheese
06 - 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
07 - 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
→ Toppings & Field Decorations
08 - ½ cup sour cream (for field lines)
09 - 2 ripe avocados, mashed (for field base)
10 - ½ cup prepared salsa
11 - 1 cup chopped cherry tomatoes (for fans or decoration)
12 - 1 small red bell pepper, diced (for corner flags)
13 - ¼ cup sliced black olives
14 - 2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
# Directions:
01 - Preheat oven to 400°F.
02 - Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook, stirring, until browned, about 5 to 7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
03 - Stir in taco seasoning and 2 tablespoons water. Cook for 2 minutes. Add drained black beans and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes until heated through. Remove from heat.
04 - Spread tortilla chips evenly on a large rimmed baking sheet or platter in a rectangular shape resembling a soccer field.
05 - Spoon beef and bean mixture evenly over chips. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses.
06 - Bake in preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
07 - Cool slightly, then spread mashed avocado in a smooth layer over the baked nachos to resemble a green soccer field, leaving a visible chip border.
08 - Fill a piping bag or zip-top bag with sour cream. Snip a small corner and pipe field lines, goal boxes, and center circle onto the avocado field.
09 - Use diced red bell pepper for corner flags, sliced black olives for players, and cherry tomatoes and chopped cilantro as crowd or field accents.
10 - Serve immediately with prepared salsa on the side.
